My Story
Welcome!
I’m Christopher, the founder of GoBeachy. For as long as I can remember, I have loved the sand and sea. When I think back on my favorite memories with friends and family, I can’t help but notice how much of my life has been shaped by my time at the beach. When my wife and I were first dating, for instance, we took a few well-deserved days off from work and made a getaway to the Jersey shore. We enjoyed many magical moments swimming in the water; strolling on the beach; and enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of the boardwalk. Looking back, things are crystal clear: it was the beginning of our future together.
Now, with several children of our own, we love to watch the magic of the beach come alive within our young family. Whether we are taking a day trip to Stone Harbor, planning an outing with extended family to Cape Cod, or dreaming about a spring break holiday to a tropical island, we are always thinking about the many memories we’ll get to bring home with us after our vacations end.
Before GoBeachy, I always found myself wishing for a way to stay in those moments – a way to keep a piece of the beach with me wherever I went, so I could travel back to that happy place, at least in my mind, whenever life turned cold, dark, and gray. One July evening, over a bottle of wine at a friend’s house, the idea for GoBeachy was born: why not develop an affordable, inclusive, and unique line of beachy keepsakes to keep friends and family connected, even when they’re far from the sun, sand, and sea?
In 2019, I finally seized the opportunity to quit my day job, break out the flip flops, and dive deep into beach-inspired jewelry design. By far, it was the best professional decision of my life.
I am so grateful that you are with me on this journey. If you love the beach too, you know just how special memories made there with family and friends can be. I am excited to share my unique line of beach-inspired keepsakes with you, and I hope you will share my jewelry with those you love, too!
Warmest wishes,
Christopher
